NYPD arrest 18-year-old accused of Fort Hamilton High School bomb threats

A Fort Hamilton High School student has been arrested in connection to the bomb threat he made on his own school, police say.

The NYPD arrested Dan Awadh, 18, of Brooklyn, who has been accused of making terrorist threats to the Fort Hamilton High School. Police say Awadh was identified and arrested Thursday morning in his home in Brooklyn.

Three bomb threats were made three days in a row and police believe all attempts were made by Awadh.

Awadh has been charged with criminal terrorism and making a false report.
