NYPD: Arrest made in violent assault in Norwood

Victor Andino, 57, got into an argument with a 32-year-old man in front of 33 E 208th, displayed a knife and stabbed the man in the torso.

Police say that an arrest was made in connection to a violent assault in Norwood earlier this month.
On March 10, Victor Andino, 57, got into an argument with a 32-year-old man in front of 33 E 208th, displayed a knife and stabbed the man in the torso, according to police. Andino then ran away from the scene while the victim was taken to SBH Health System in stable condition.
Andino was arrested on Tuesday and charged with second-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
