10h agoPolice have arrested the suspect tied to the first murder of 2023.
Ira Shane is now facing murder charges in the death of Sergio Garcia.
Investigators say Shane stabbed Garcia in the chest during an argument on College Avenue on Jan. 1. Garcia was pronounced dead at the hospital.
A woman was also stabbed during that altercation, and she is expected to survive.
Shane was charged with manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon.
