NYPD beats FDNY during annual charity basketball game at Barclays Center

The NYPD came out victorious, 65-59. The department’s sports rivalry will continue this spring and summer when their baseball and football teams meet.

The NYPD and the FDNY played their annual charity basketball game Sunday at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center.
Organizers say they needed an extra 300 tickets to satisfy fans after 1,000 tickets sold out.
All proceeds from Sunday’s game went to the Police Benevolent Association Widows and Children’s Fund which supports the families of officers who lost their lives in the line of duty.
