Police are asking for the public's help to track down two people wanted for a double shooting in Belmont.

The NYPD released video of two alleged suspects who they say ran from the scene on Park Avenue near Washington Avenue on July 16.

Investigators say a 22-year-old man and a 24-year-old man were shot in the torso just after midnight on July 16 near 4646 Park Ave. The victims were rushed to the hospital in stable condition.

It's unclear if the victims knew the suspected shooters or what the motive was behind the attack.

People who live in the neighborhood say they have been terrorized by violence. A man who asked to only be identified by his first name, Felix, works as the janitor at the apartment building where the shooting happened in front of.

"I don't feel comfortable, because this is a dangerous life, that's what the problem is, sometimes I just want to leave work," said Felix.

Both shooting incidents and victims are up in the 48th Precinct over the last month, according to NYPD crime statistics. The statistics reveal that six people were injured in shootings in the last 28 days, compared to three at the same time last year.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
