NYPD identifies 23-year-old in Longwood crash homicide probe

The NYPD has identified a 23-year-old man who was killed in a possible road rage incident Saturday as Robert Jimenez.

Police responded to a 911 call after a 28-year-old woman driving a Honda Civic struck Jimenez while the two were traveling southbound on Fox Street in Longwood.

He was taken to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln where he was pronounced dead from his injuries.

The woman, who was not named by police, was taken into custody.

News 12 sources say the incident may have been road-rage related. The NYPD is probing the crash as a homicide.
