Police: Man facing drug charges following compliance inspection

The NYPD has arrested a suspect for the fatal assault involving two men that took place in Gravesend early Thursday morning.  

Police have arrested and charged suspect Sergio Zamora Mendoza with manslaughter and assault.

According to law enforcement, two men were found unconscious outside of 1968 West 9 St. in Brooklyn just after 4:30 a.m.  

One of the two victims, 66-year-old Carlos Guaman was pronounced dead at Maimonides Medical Center shortly after the incident, and a 52-year-old man was hospitalized but is expected to be OK.
