Police say a person arrested in a deadly stabbing in East Flatbush over the weekend is the victim's son.
The stabbing happened Friday night inside 333 East 92nd St. Police responded to the scene after getting a call about an assault just before midnight.
That's when they say they found 45-year-old Roselene Oliveira with multiple stab wounds across her body.
She was rushed to the hospital but didn't survive.
Authorities arrested 29-year-old Weverton Lino, who they now say is her son.
According to the criminal complaint, two people confirmed they saw Lino stab Oliveira multiple times.
Police say when they arrived, someone was holding Lino down while he was lying next to the victim with a knife in his hand.
The complaint also accuses Lino of having multiple weapons on him, including an electronic dart gun and a throwing star.
The chief medical examiner's records say Oliveira was stabbed 13 times.
Lino was charged with second-degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon.
Police are now trying to piece together what led up to the incident.
