Police say a man is dead and another in stable condition in the hospital after a robbery in Castle Hill.

Police identified the man who died as 26-year-old Tyreek Moore.

Authorities say they received reports of a robbery on Seward Avenue just before 6 p.m. Sunday.

When they arrived, they said they saw Moore with a gunshot wound to the back and a 24-year-old with pain and bruising to the head.

They were taken to NYC Health and Hospitals Jacobi where Moore was pronounced dead. The 24-year-old is in stable condition -- he was hit on the side of the head with a gun, police say.

Police say whoever did this managed to take a wallet and a cellphone.

Police say they're searching for three men wearing all black and a woman wearing all gray.

Police ask anyone with any information about the shooting to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
