Police say a man was fatally stabbed following a car crash in Morris Heights.
According to the NYPD, an argument between two drivers took place after a crash Tuesday afternoon.
Police say one of the drivers called a friend to the scene to help out. The same person began fighting with the other driver and eventually went to stab him, but ended up stabbing a bystander in the chest instead.
Authorities say the bystander was identified as 29-year-old Ronald Gomez-Mesa. He was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
