A man was shot Tuesday afternoon on a street in West Farms, the NYPD says.

Police say the 31-year-old victim was shot in the chest and right arm at 949 E. 180th St. and taken to St. Barnabas Hospital.

News 12 was told that the unnamed victim ran into a nearby salon and collapsed on the ground before police arrived.

The owner of the salon then fainted and was taken to a hospital.
