Police confirmed 2 people were shot early Wednesday morning in Crotona Park East.

According to the NYPD, a man was shot in the shoulder and a woman was shot in the back on Hoe Avenue.

Both victims were rushed to a hospital in stable condition.

It's unclear what led up to the shooting or who pulled the trigger.
