Nearly a dozen shootings were reported across New York City ahead of the weekend.
One person was wounded after being shot at around 4 a.m. Saturday in Brownsville. He was taken to Brookdale Hospital.
Police have not yet released a description of that victim or their condition.
A separate shooting in East New York sent three more people to the hospital and a Canarsie shooting left two other men injured.
In the Bronx, police are investigating three incidents that sent three people to the hospital.
One of the shootings happened around 11 p.m. Friday near East 167th Street and Boston Road. A 20-year-old man was sitting in a livery cab when he was shot by a person in another car.
News 12 is still waiting for more details on that person's condition.
The NYPD is trying to make arrests in all of these cases.
