NYPD: Multiple suspects wanted for drive-by shooting in Concourse Village
Police say they are searching for multiple suspects in a drive-by shooting that took place in the Concourse Village, leaving a 68-year-old man hospitalized.
The incident took place at around 1 p.m. outside of 280 East 162nd St., according to the NYPD. Residents who live on the block told News 12 that they are not surprised at the incident, as they say there are constant shootings in the area.
Law enforcement officials say a 68-year-old man was shot in the leg and was brought to Lincoln Hospital, where he is expected to be OK.
Police say that they are searching for multiple suspects who fled the scene in a dark-colored SUV.
