An NYPD officer was seriously injured after a garage door at the 78 Precinct in Gowanus fell on her Wednesday night.

Authorities say the incident occurred around 7:30 a.m. when the officer, who works in community affairs, was headed into the garage when the metal gate collapsed and hit her on the leg.

The officer remained conscious and was taken to Methodist Hospital where she is now in stable condition.
