Police arrested a man Tuesday at a Manhattan subway station holding a bag of weapons that included a sword and nunchucks, the NYPD says.
Police say the sword was hanging off the outside of the man's bag while at the 42nd Street-Port Authority subway station around noon. Seeing the weapon prompted the officers to check the bag. They say they found multiple weapons, including a pellet gun and ninja star, along with the sword and nunchucks.
Officers identified the man as Glenn Jones, 49, of Dryden. Jones now faces 13 counts of criminal possession of a weapon.
