The NYPD has released bodycam footage from a police-involved shooting that happened in Williamsbridge.

The NYPD has released bodycam footage from a police-involved shooting that happened in Williamsbridge.
The footage is from one of the officers who responded to calls of a shooting on Oct.16 at the station on East 225th Street. 
The officers were alerted through ShotSpotter. Police say they came upon Richard Richard, who they say pointed a gun at officers.
Shots are heard being fired during the encounter.
Richard was hit in the shoulder by one of the bullets from the officer's guns. He survived the shooting.
The NYPD says he has an extensive criminal record.
