The NYPD released images of a person wanted in connection to a homicide last month.

News 12 reported on Feb. 23 that two men were shot in front of 2179 White Plains Road. A 32-year-old man was shot in the back and survived. A 33-year-old man, identified as Kemahni Smalls of Staten Island, was also shot in the back and died at the hospital.

The shooting prompted calls for an end to gun violence among community members.

The new images shows a man with dark complexion and slim build approximately 6 feet, 2 inches tall.
