Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect who injured an 81-year-old woman during an attempted robbery in Wakefield.
Authorities say a man around the age of 18 tried to forcibly remove the victim’s bag on Aug. 28.
The suspect dragged the woman on the ground on White Plains Road during the attempt.
Police say she suffered injuries to her elbows and knees.
She was hospitalized in stable condition, according to authorities.
