NYPD: Suspect wanted for attacking employee during attempted robbery at Family Dollar in Soundview

Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man that they say attacked an employee while attempting to rob a Family Dollar on Soundview Avenue.
Police say the suspect tried to leave the store without paying and attacked a 40-year-old employee who confronted him at around 11 a.m. on Nov. 3.
The stolen merchandise was retrieved despite the attack, according to authorities.
Police say the employee suffered minor injuries and the suspect fled the scene empty handed.
