NYPD: Suspect wanted for robbing man in Kingsbridge Heights

Authorities say the 47-year-old victim entered an apartment building near University Avenue and West 190 Street when a male suspect approached him from behind, presented a firearm and demanded his property.

Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect who robbed a man in Kingsbridge Heights on Dec. 15.

Authorities say the 47-year-old victim entered an apartment building near University Avenue and West 190 Street when a male suspect approached him from behind, presented a firearm and demanded his property.

The suspect took $1,000 and a cell phone from the victim before fleeing the scene, according to police.

The suspect is described as being around 150 pounds, 5'10" tall with a dark complexion.
