Police say the victim was shot at the intersection of Flatbush Avenue and Farragut Road at around 6:45 p.m.
Investigators searched the area and could not find the shooter, according to authorities.
Police say the victim was hospitalized and currently remains in critical condition.
Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call police.
