The NYPD is working to make sure Election Day and the weeks after go off without a hitch.
Officers will be at the more than 1,200 polling locations across the city on Election Day and the nearly 100 early voting sites too -- starting this weekend.
The NYPD says more officers will be deployed and that they've been training in preparation for cyberattacks, protests, large gatherings and any other situation that might arise.
While the NYPD says there are not currently any credible threats regarding the election, they are prepared for whatever might come their way.
