Police say a woman wanted for an attack in a Brooklyn subway was arrested in Georgia and now in NYPD custody.
Police say 33-year-old Rodlin Gravesande is charged with assault.
Gravesande is accused of splashing a chemical onto the face of a subway rider following a dispute at the Nostrand Avenue and Winthrop Street subway station, according to the NYPD.
Authorities say the victim sustained serious damage and burns to half of her face.
Subway riders present during the attack recalled the incident as "chaos."
"It was a very dangerous situation," said Brian Chapman.
"Definitely glad she got caught. There's a lot of kids that ride the train...it's a dangerous world,” said Thomas Knight.
The NYPD coordinated with Atlanta authorities to extradite Gravesande back to the city.
