Police say they have arrested the woman who fatally shot a 42-year-old Crown Heights woman back in August.
Police Commissioner Dermot Shea said on Twitter Monday night that suspect was arrested down in Jacksonville, Florida.
Surveillance video from Aug. 4 appears to show the suspect stepping out of a white double-parked car
on Franklin Avenue near Prospect Place and shoot
Delia Johnson execution-style in the head as she was with a group of people before she calmly walks back to the car.
Shea said on Twitter, "Apprehension made - You can run but the long arm of the law will find you. The woman responsible for the August 4th murder of a Brooklyn woman has been apprehended by our partners in Jacksonville, Florida."
Her family also told News 12 she left behind a teenage daughter.
Police did say the suspect they arrested is 42 years old but have not yet released her name yet.
She is still down in Jacksonville, according to law enforcement.
There is no word yet on when she will be extradited back to New York.
