The pandemic has created a stressful environment for medical professionals throughout the world. To help ease this stress, NYU Langone started self-care practices to create a healthier work environment for their staff.
Some much needed tender, love and care is being offered for medical professionals constantly working to bring health and wellness to the community. Organizers are creating a safe space for staff to relax and reflect on their day before immersing themselves into their lifesaving work.
The Learner Health Promotion Program was created to bring well-being resources to staff and patients as well as the overall community.
However, this self-care goes deeper than the physical needs.
NYU Langone will continue to offer these self-care classes on a weekly basis to provide their medical staff with the tips they need to handle their stress on a day-to-day basis.
