Officials: 2 dead in Williamsburg 5-alarm fire on Richardson Street

Two people are dead after an early morning 5-alarm fire at an apartment building in Brooklyn on Monday, police say.
It happened at a 3-story apartment building at the corner of Richardson and Lorimer streets around 1:30 a.m. according to police.
Two firefighters were also injured in the blaze, according to officials. One firefighter fell off of a ladder. Both are expected to be OK.
They say the fire department was able to put the fire out, but discovered a body after searching the building. 
A second person who officials believed to be missing was also found inside the building and was pronounced dead a short time later. 
Officials say the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
