A 60-year-old man was fatally struck by a car Saturday morning between Boston and Eastchester roads in the Bronx, according to officials.

Authorities say a BMW sedan hit the man as he exited his parked vehicle around 5 a.m. He was hospitalized at Jacobi Medical Center and then pronounced dead.

The driver, a 24-year-old man, remained at the scene. Officials say he was taken to a hospital for evaluation but was not visibly injured.

No arrests have been made.
