City officials announced Thursday that they will host community members and experts next month to discuss a proposal to build a new hotel at Gerard Avenue and 151st Street.
Developers filed paperwork seeking approval to build a four-story hotel at 646 Gerard Ave, which is near Yankee Stadium and the Bronx Terminal Market.
The city denied the initial application, citing its insufficient fire-protection system.
A revised application has not yet been submitted, but the city wants feedback from stakeholders who may be concerned about quality-of-life issues.
