4h agoA pedestrian was fatally struck in Brooklyn early Thursday,
officials say.
The incident happened at around 6:30 a.m. on Flatbush Avenue
and Gold Street.
Police say the victim, a 23-year-old man, was hit while
walking in the middle lane by a 67-year-old male driving a 2017 grey Jeep
Cherokee.
The pedestrian was taken to Brooklyn Hospital where he was
pronounced dead.
The driver remained on the scene.
No arrests were made.
