Services to help those fighting addiction will now be even more accessible thanks to new funding for underserved communities.
More than $3 million will go to mobile treatment and telepractice services for addiction across the state, making critical care more accessible for those in need.
Additionally, $2.25 million will go to vehicles for providers to drive to neighborhoods with high addiction problems.
In order to gain more staff and support, another $930,000 will be used to boost telepractice capacity and equipment.
