Traffic delays continued Thursday morning after a tractor-trailer overturned near the New Jersey Turnpike in Edison overnight.
The crash happened on the ramp approaching the Exit 10 toll plaza for drivers coming from Interstate 287 and entering the Turnpike around 3:25 a.m.
Crews spent the morning working to clear the scene.
The tractor portion of the truck was uprighted and towed away.
A second tractor-trailer was backed into the area so crews could transfer cargo from the overturned trailer.
Forklifts and pallets were brought to the scene as the unloading operation continued.
Traffic was still getting through the area, but delays remained during the morning commute.
There is no word on what caused the crash.
There were no reported injuries on scene. The crash remains under investigation.
