A partial wall collapse prompted authorities to evacuate nearby buildings in Crotona Park East on Saturday.

Police say it happened at an abandoned, three-story residential building. They evacuated buildings near 1400 through 1408 Prospect Ave., as well as those at 785 through 795 Jennings St. as a precaution.

Video from the scene shows debris from the wall on the ground in the backyard of the building.

The Department of Buildings was on the scene to conduct a structural stability inspection of the building and to investigate the incident.
