The 105th annual Greek festival is underway in Pelham Bay, complete with gyros, souvlaki and more.
The event draws hundreds of people every year to Zoodohos Peghe — which translates to the Virgin Mary's Church of the Life Giving Spring — part of the Hellenic Community of the Bronx and linked to the Greek-American Institute.
It has taken place on Bruckner Boulevard since 1967.
Some visitors say they grew up in the area and return every year for the festival, even though many of them have moved away.
The event runs for five more days.
