The Friends of the Pelham Parkway organization planted daffodils to honor 9/11 victims on Saturday.
The organization uses this event to help beautify the community and teach children the importance of nature.
Dozens of people attended the event and planted over 2,000 flowers.
Volunteers also planted a small daffodil garden across the Pelham Parkway Houses.
