Police say a person was injured during a shooting in East New York.

Officers responded to Riverdale and Williams avenues just after 8 p.m. Friday.

The victim was struck in the leg, according to authorities. They say EMS took him to One Brooklyn Health-Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center, where he is expected to recover.

Police are searching for a man wearing all black who ran from the scene.
