Person’s left leg severed by train strike on the 6-line

A person's leg was severed early this morning after being struck by a train.
News 12 is told it happened around 2 a.m. at the Whitlock Avenue subway station.
Police say the victim was found on the roadbed of the 6 line and was taken to NYC Health and Hospital-Lincoln conscious and alert.
They say his left leg is severed below the knee.
No criminality is suspected.
