Photos have been released of a bat-wielding thief in a Parkchester robbery.

Police say the incident happened at Dollar Tree at 2026 Westchester Ave. at around 9:15 in the morning on Monday, Sept. 29.

The thief ran into the store, stole items and started to run away, but then a 60-year-old woman approached him. That's when police say he pulled out his baseball bat, threatened her, and then ran off.

As of right now police say there are no reported injuries, however anyone who recognizes the person is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
