- An Air Quality Alert is in effect through 12 a.m. AQI values can reach over 100 for fine particulates. People in sensitive groups with respiratory issues, asthma and even allergies should reduce strenuous outdoor activity through this evening.
- It's mild, calm and mostly sunny this morning. Temperatures are in the upper 60s to low 70s.
- Today will be hot, hazy, breezy with some humidity. Highs will be in the upper 80s to near 90 degrees, even at the coast thanks to a westerly wind.
- An isolated shower or storm is possible this afternoon.
- There's a moderate rip current risk at the ocean-facing beaches today. Never swim alone and always swim near a lifeguard. Water temperatures are in the low 60s.
- Tomorrow won't be as hot as today, but the humidity remains with a chance of a pop-up t-storm during the afternoon/evening. Highs will be in the upper 70s, near 80 degrees. Showers become more widespread late Friday night into Saturday morning.
- We have another wet weekend ahead. Saturday will feature light on/off afternoon showers. No need to cancel all outdoor plans on Saturday, there will be more dry times than wet ones.
