Police: 1 man dead, 3 recovering in Mount Hope early morning shooting

The shooting suspect is still on the loose.

Police say four men were shot early Monday morning in Mount Hope.
Just before 3 a.m., police responded to 255 East Burnside Ave. for a shooting. Officers discovered a 34-year-old man, a 37-year-old man, a 32-year-old man and a 23-year-old man with gunshot wounds.
The 23-year-old victim was shot in the leg and taken to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln where he is now in stable condition. The 37-year-old man was taken to SBH Health System with a gunshot wound to the foot. The 32-year-old man was struck in the back and transferred to Montefiore Medical Center in stable condition.
The 34-year-old victim was shot in the abdomen and was listed in critical condition, but pronounced dead at SBH Health System.
The NYPD recovered one firearm and one shell casing at the scene.
The shooting suspect is still on the loose.
