Police say five people were shot at what may have been an underground party in Williamsburg.
Officers say they responded to 417 Flushing Ave. around 4 a.m. Saturday after receiving a call about a 23-year-old woman shot in the leg. However, they say four other people were also shot and sent to the hospital.
Authorities say the other victims include a 36-year-old man, a 49-year-old man, a 28-year-old man and a 34-year-old man. They say there were all in stable condition.
Neighbor Christine Mitchell says she saw at least 150 people running out of the garage. She and other neighbors say there seems to be constant parties in the location for the past month.
"Nonstop people in and out,” Mitchell says. “At 3 a.m., they were still letting people in that place.”
Police say a dispute began inside of the location and then moved outside, though other details are unclear.
