Police say a 13-year-old boy was fatally shot in Belmont on Sunday.
They say the shooting took place after 3 p.m.
Video from the Citizen app captured the scene outside of Angel's Cafe.
According to police, a man came out of a black car and shot at the teenager, hitting him in the chest and the leg.
The boy was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital where was he was pronounced dead.
Community advocate Sidney Flores says guns need to be taken off the street.
"If you know something, say something. This is somebody's child, 13 years old and it's tragic," he says. "There was a time when we did not hear about drive-by shootings in New York."
No arrests have been made yet.
