Police say a 14-year-old boy was found dead at the Roebling Playground in Williamsburg Wednesday.

They say he was playing in the area alone when someone passing by saw his body and called 911.

Authorities say he was found unconscious around 6 p.m. and was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators say they don't believe the death was a result of criminal activity.

The Medical Examiner is working to determine the boy's cause of death.

A vigil was set up at the park on Bedford Avenue where the boy was found.
