Police: 2 dead, 6 injured in 5 shootings across the Bronx and Brooklyn

At least five shootings left at least two people dead and six others injured across the Bronx and Brooklyn, officials say.
A man was fatally shot in the head at the back of a building in Fordham Heights.
That incident happened Saturday around 9:30 p.m.
Police say two people were both shit in the leg at Britton Street and White Plains Road in the Bronx. News 12 is told the shooter fled in a gray sedan and the victims were taken to Jacobi Medical Center.
In Brooklyn, three people were shot around 2 a.m. Sunday on at a party Bedford Avenue.
Police say a 23-year-old man was shot in the right arm, a 27-year-old woman in the left leg and a 19-year-old woman grazed in the left leg.
All of victims were treated at hospitals.
Investigators do not know if the victims were intended targets.
Police say 62-year-old Daniel Romulus was shot and killed on Saturday on 580 E. 17th St. He was pronounced dead at Kings County.
A 32-year-old woman was also shot in the face through a door in an Ocean Avenue residence.
The suspect fled and the victim is in stable condition at an area hospital.
Police say there have been nearly 1,000 more shooting victims this year as compared to last year.
