Two men were assaulted on the subway in Carroll Gardens Monday morning, according to police.
The NYPD says a 35-year-old man and a 50-year-old man were sent to the hospital after another man struck them with a brick near the Carroll Street station.
Police say a man in his 30s was threatening passengers on the northbound F train going toward Queens just after 7 a.m.
Police say the suspect took out a brick from his sweatshirt and lunged toward the 35-year-old man, hitting him in the forehead.
The suspect tried to hit the 35-year-old man again, but police say he missed and ended up hitting the 50-year-old victim in the forehead as well.
Police believe the suspect got off the F train at the Bergen Street stop.
