Police: 2 men injured in Brownsville double shooting

Police are investigating a shooting in Brownsville Wednesday night.

Police are investigating a shooting in Brownsville Wednesday night.
News 12 is told police were alerted by a Shot Spotter activation on Thomas S. Boyland Street and the corner of Dumont Avenue around 10 p.m.
The alert said two rounds had been fired across the street from Betsey Head Park. A short time later, investigators tell News 12 two men, a 19-year-old and a 20-year-old were dropped off by the driver of a dark colored SUV at Brookdale Hospital.
Police say both the men had gunshot wounds to their legs.
Both are being treated for their wounds at the hospital and are expected to be OK.
Police tell News 12 the two men would not provide much information about the shooting.
