Police are searching for a man connected to an armed robbery that left two people hospitalized.

The alleged incident happened outside of 10-53 Boynton Ave., where police say the suspect approached a 62-year-old man from the back and snatched his necklace.

Officials say as the victim turned around, the suspect fired eight shots, striking the 62-year-old in the body and another bystander in the knee.

Both victims are in stable condition and recovering at Jacobi Medical Center.
