The Administration for Children's Services is investigating the injuries of a 2-month-old boy police discovered badly beaten in a Mount Hope home Saturday.
Police found the infant Kadiha Marrow inside the first-floor apartment at Morris Avenue and Mount Hope Place. His mother had called 911 to say that the child was having trouble breathing, according to investigators.
He was rushed to the hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
Police say ACS has been called to the home four times in the past two years.
The baby suffered injuries consistent with shaken baby syndrome, according to police, although no arrests have been made.
