Police are investigating a shooting in Belmont that sent two people to the hospital.

News 12 is told it happened at a deli on the corner Crotona Avenue and 183rd Street around 10:30 p.m. Monday.

Police say when they arrived on the scene they found a 16-year-old man shot in the stomach and a 26-year-old man shot in the leg and arm in front of 2323 Crotona Ave.

The victims were taken to the hospital where officials say they're in stable condition.

The Crime Scene Unit says they recovered a bullet casing from outside the front of the deli.

The deli owner told News 12 a fight began across the street and ended up in front of the bodega.

As of now no arrests have been made.
