Two people were shot near Yankee Stadium Tuesday afternoon, and a source tells News 12 they believe it was gang-related. 

News 12 is told it happened around 4:45 p.m. at 1050 Woodycrest Ave. 

Police say a 37-year-old man was shot once in the ankle and rear. They say a 21-year-old was shot seven times all over his body. 

Both have been transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln. 

Sources tell News 12 that police are searching for two suspects.
